Lake George Wild Forest bordering this renovated 1865 post and beam farmhouse and woodlands on other sides provides a great deal of privacy for those who wish to get away from the rat race or just get out in the country. Convenient to hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobiling and horseback riding trails as well as the public access to Lake George at Shelving Rock. Beautiful locations and trails. It's not far from the walk-in access to Inman Pond for fishing.

A cute 3 bedroom farmhouse with a great porch. Get outside and enjoy! Or stay in and relax, whatever it takes for you to unwind from the stresses of today. Sit out back around the campfire and think or sing if the mood hits you-marshmallows are great. Listen to the birds, read on the porch, de-stress.

Large screen porch overlooking open fields and woods great for reading, thinking and doing puzzles or writing a book.  Sunny kitchen with dining area, both with woods views across the fields, living room, Three quarter bath on first floor, also  first floor bedroom with queensized bed, up stairs are two other bedrooms connected, one with two three-quarter beds and the other with two twins. Campfire area set up in back yard as well as a grill for the more traditional cook.The carriage house out back has had the second floor converted to a family room with table and chairs and sitting area and games and books  as well as a tv with a vcr player and radio there for your listening pleasure. There is no cable so tenants will need to bring own dvd player, There is no heat in the Carriage house but there is in main house. No wifi , tv or internet on property, no cell reception-there is a landline

Sheets are provided for 3/4 beds. Towels and kitchen linens are not

Close to the east side of Lake George (ca. 18 minutes drive)- and about 25 minutes from exit 20 on the Northway (depending on the traffic on 149).
