Hadlock Pond Community Info

Hadlock Pond (also called Lake Hadlock) is located just east of Lake George, and is an affordable alternative to Lake George. About 1 mile in length and 43′ at the deepest point, this Southern Adirondack lake is located just inside the Blue Line of Adirondack Park, and was established in 1886 with the creation of a dam district. Lake Hadlock used to be a seasonal community for many local residents to enjoy the summer months. Now, there are rustic seasonal camps and year round Adirondack-style homes that dotting the shoreline. Activities include boating, sailing, tubing, and great fishing! Enjoy ice cream and mini golf at close by Hillbilly Heaven.

Log Bay and Shelving Rock, home to miles of hiking trails and water access to Lake George, are located “up the street” from Hadlock Pond and are a popular among the locals.
