In the days of steam and graceful living the Victoria Lodge was a noted destination for vacationers. They would take stage or railroad to the steamboat docks in Lake George Village then take the boat to the hotel out near the end of Pilot Knob to spent a relaxing vacation. Now the Lodge has been converted to a 4 bedroom house with two bedrooms on the first floor and two on the second and a 3/4 bath on each floor as well as a kitchen and living room on each floor making it ideal for two small families or two couples who want to vacation together but have some separateness. There are separate entrances for the two part of the house as well as a stair. There's a great porch looking out at the lake with (of course) rocking chairs so you can sit and enjoy the views while reading or socializing. First floor bedroom lakeside with great views and a door opening onto the porch as well as a window, queen sized bed; second first floor bedroom has a queen sized bed and is situated at the other end of the house providing additional privacy. The second floor bedrooms both have queen beds.
There's standard cable television (not the basic). Kitchen on the second floor has apartment sized oven. Both kitchens are somewhat recent conversions as are the baths so they're updated.
