All of this has just been built and completed in the past 18 months. The addition was painstakingly blended to the existing log home using a mix of some of the largest trees available locally, just as the original was done. The logs on the addition have been halved so the walls are concrete and then framed on the interior to maximize the insulation value.
The original cabin has three beautiful, wood burning stone fireplaces. You must take a look at their photos. The love and craftsmanship that went into the construction is really exceptional.
