About Hadlock Pond

Lake Hadlock (also known as Hadlock Pond) is located just east of Lake George, and is an affordable alternative to Lake George.  About 1 mile in length and 43' at the deepest point, this Southern Adirondack lake is located just inside the Blue Line for the Adirondack Park, and was established in 1886 with the creation of a damn district.  Lake Hadlock used to be a seasonal community for many local residents to enjoy the summer months.  Now there are rustic seasonal camps to year round Adirondack style homes that dot the shoreline.  Activities include boating, sailing, tubing, and really good fishing!  And great ice cream and mini golf at close by Hillbilly Heaven.

Log Bay and Shelving Rock, home to miles of hiking trails and water access to Lake George, is  located "up the street" from Hadlock and is a populst destination for locals.
